Its called Home Sweet Home and features 3 Bugs in a Rug. Here is a link to the store and details. LINK
and a picture of my kit before I played with it:
The papers are so cute and the extras are awesome. I love the Kaiser bling circles, the SR chipboard houses, and the Fancy Pants clear stuff.
I've made 4 layout with the kit so far but can only show you 3 of them. The 4th is for the newsletter and you will have to wait to see that one. Watch the forum for that to come out any day.
So on to the layouts.
I used the week 52 sketch from the "52 Sketches. . . 52 Weeks" blog for this layout.
This one was based on the sketch over at Sisterhood of Scrap
I already posted this one but thought I would post it again with the others for the kit.
So, isn't this kit awesome? Go to the store and buy yours now! They are on sale. Better yet, buy a subscription to the kits. The option to do so is now available. Check out the details for that here: http://scrapbookdeals4u.com/shop/
While you are at it, join the forum and come play with us! We would love to have you at scrapbookdeals4u.com!

A Repeat Post and New SD4U kits
I just had to repeat this post over here, but with some more detail:
If you post a super cute picture on your blog and I see it, I may "borrow" it and create a scrapbook page for you. I already have given 2 pages away. One was to Greg and Jess.
and the other one was for Julie, my sister in law.
I have two more sitting on my desk waiting to give to the owners! I'm so excited about them. Do you think it could be yours?
I'll give you a hint, one of the pictures was posted over the weekend and the other picture I got in an email.
I can't wait to share them soon!
The thing is that I made them using the January kits from SD4U (http://scrapbookdeals4u.com/). I got the kits last night from Martha and they are so beautiful that I couldn't go to bed without creating 2 layouts. I absolutely love these kits and the layouts.
Here is a hint about the two kit options this month:
Post a comment if you know which lines we are featuring this month!

Some stuff
Here are a few things I have created lately but not blogged about:
My To Do list! Its framed behind glass and you just write on it like a white board. The white board/dry erase pens wipe right off. How cool is that?
I'm making these for the kids' school teachers. I think they are so fun.
My button tree was made with help from all my kids. Covering the terracota pot with paper was a pain and hard to figure out but I love the result.
This is a layout using one of our engagement pictures.
This is for the Dec sketch challenge at socalscraps featuring a PageMaps sketch.

Are you ready to create a fun project?
Here we go!
I have a thing for advent calendars and counting down the day until Christmas. I think it stems from only having one advent growing up and having to take turns with my 3 siblings putting the little ornaments up on the felt tree. I want my kids to have lots of chances to put up the trinkets so I have lots of calendars. So with that said, here is a project!
Gather your supplies.
1 cookie sheet (I got mine from the dollar store)
2-4 pieces of your favorite paper
2 pieces of trim
letter stickers
number stickers
25 chipboard pieces
stickles/glimmer mist/anything blingy!
1. Cut your first piece of paper in half and fit it into the cookie sheet. I had to round my corners and trim it a bit.
2. Cut your second piece of paper to fit across the middle of your cookie sheet. I left about two inches at the top and bottom of the sheet.
3. Punch two borders out of contrasting colored paper and adhere to the top and bottom of the center piece. You can ink these for added contrast if you wish.
4. Adhere trim over seams of paper. I used ribbon, but use whatever floats your boat.
5. Add your title with Thickers or stickers to the cookie sheet. Mine says "25 Days of" on the top and "Christmas" on the bottom.
6. Adhere a center square of paper to the middle of your cookie sheet and divide it into a 5x5 grid. My piece is 7" x 7" and the squares are 1 3/8". At this point, I sprayed Glimmer Mist over the whole cookie sheet to give it some sparkle.
7. Embellish your 25 chipboard pieces. I used various stars from my American Crafts stash. I inked each star and covered with stickles and Pink Paislee Pixie Stix glitter.
8. Add your numbers to each square on your grid. I used a mix of what I had on hand. You could cut these with your Cricut to get uniform looking numbers.
9. Glue large flower to top corner if you wish. (from Christmas kit)
10. Add magnets to the back of each chipboard piece and you are done!

More Dec kit
This first layout is created from a sketch on the 52 sketches blog. And since I combined SD4U's December kit with pieces of the May kit, I'm submitting the layout to WeKitUNot (another fun blog).
This second layout was created with the SD4U Dec kit as well. I followed the instructions for SoCalScraps Happy Hour last Friday. Kristy gave awesome instructions for this beautlful layout. See the Happy Hour directions HERE! and HERE
