Look at all that fun! And this kit really was a lot of fun to work with. I tried to show how the paper can be used with a variety of subjects and for many different events.

Here is my first layout, an indoor boy layout.

A summer baby layout.

A girl layout by the pool (so also summery).

I know I will get many, many more projects with this kit! I'll post them as I get them done too!

What have you created with June Bug?

ScrapbookDeals4u.com September Kits

They are now for sale in the store. Martha has decided to offer not two, but three kit choices monthly with an occassional speciality kit too. It just so happens that there are 3 regular kits this month and 2 specials! That makes FIVE choices this month. (Actually, we are down to 4 choices because Garden Grove already sold out)

So here they are: The wonderful September kits at Scrapbook Deals 4 U.

I'm working with June Bug and will be back later to post my creations. If you want to see the DTs' work with all the other kits visit the gallery and forum. Lots of inspiration in there right now!

Treasured Scrapbooking - The Treasured Hunt 2009

Treasured Scrapbooking is hosting a fun contest right now. Each week they post a challenge. You complete the challenge and the dt votes on who gets to move on. We are currently in week 2.

The first week was just to get elligible players. You could upload any layout you wanted. I chose my MME Breaking Free layout.

I was one of 30 that moved on to the first week.

The week 1 challenge was to create a ONE page layout with at least one circle (3 inches or bigger), torn paper, only ONE photo, and journaling including "I wish someone had told me that..."

And this is my layout for that challenge.

There were many great layouts for this week and I was selected to be one of 23 that moved on!

Week 2 is our current week. The challenge is to create a ONE page layout with at least 3 pictures, 4 different patterned papers (no more, no less), 2 colors of cardstock (no more, no less), at least one arrow, buttons or beads, and journaling that includes..."If I were honest with myself...". It can be as long or as short as you like but must include those words. It also must be an original design - no sketches please!

SO this is the layout I just did for this week.

Here is a close up of the inside journaling and a side view.

All layouts for this week must be uploaded by Monday and those moving on are announced on Tuesday. Fingers crossed that I get to move on to the next week!

Scrapbook Heaven Sketch Crop

I just participated in Scrapbook Heaven's sketch crop (hence the title, lol). Here is a link to their site: SH

I created 14 layouts and 3 cards since Saturday. I finished layouts yesterday (Tuesday). Today I photographed, editted and uploaded them. That part took ALL DAY!!!

But here they are, all 17 items!

Used Crate Paper Prudence from an older ScrapbookDeals4U.com kit. I think most of my layouts came from kits from SD4U!

Home BLocks

So my fun friends came over again and we did another set of blocks. They have strawberry themed kitchens so their blocks where made with really cut strawberry paper. My kitchen doesn't have a theme, but I love these Cosmo Cricket Early Bird papers! Thats what I decided to use. Isn't it so cute? I love this set!!!

A New Layout

I just love this paper! I used the rest of my Crate Paper up and created this layout. I used sketch 63 from Creativescrappers.com

Here is a link to their blog: http://creativescrappers.blogspot.com/2009/08/sketch-63.html

I editted this post with a lighter pic of my layout. I think it looks better now.

SD4U Blog Hop

Hi and welcome to my blog!

Today is the second ever blog hop at SD4U. If you would like to see the other blogs in this hop, please visit the SD4U forum thread at this link

Here is the sketch I used.

Have you seen this sketch site? twistedsketches.com Its fun. They post a sketch and one other element to include in the layout. This is sketch #8. The "twist" is to use at least one flower on your layout.

And here is my layout with the sketch.

I love this Crate Paper line. In addition to the Crate Paper, I used Making Memories flowers and brads, and Jillibean soup letters. I did move the title from the sketch placements, but that is what sketches are all about. Taking the main ideas and running with them.

I hope you like my layout and have fun hopping today! If you leave a comment I will do a random drawing for a RAK. If you are a follower to my blog, you will be entered a second time!
I will draw a winner Sunday night. Good luck and have a great weekend!
