New Contest at SD4U

Martha just announced a new contest at SD4U. I would love to win and you could help me out. Here are the details copied from the website:

Here is a Halloween contest for you...if you complete the following assignments:

1. Bring 3 new people to the site - when they introduce themselves have them indicate who refer them
2. Post 4 Halloween Layouts, recent or not
3. Answer the following questions:
What is your favorite candy?
What is your favorite costume?
What do you do for Halloween?

Your Prize, a Guest Designer Position for October and a free Special Edition Halloween kit, using the beautiful Paper line from Cosmo Cricket!

The DT will review the entries and select TWO Guest Designers

Thanks for your participation and Good Luck! Contest will run until next Tuesday Sept 23rd and I will announce the winners on Wednesday Sept 24th

So I can handle posting the layouts and answering the questions, but I don't know about the 3 new people. I don't even think I have 3 people that read this blog. But if I do have any friends that want to join me over there, I would love to have you. Come and play with me over there!!!! Its fun! I promise.

SD4U Week 6

This week we were to use a two page sketch and create a layout about our favorite holiday. Thats mine! I used Love, Elsie and tons of Making Memories metal. I've had that metal for 3 years i think. Its so good to see it all finally used up!

Here is a link to the challenge at SD4U so you can see who else is playing along. You could always join in too!

Nook U

The first one is for the science core class. It could be any size so I tried this 6x12.

The skull one is for the Econ Core class.

The card is for the econ extra credit.

Two more Scrapbook Heaven Summer Camp Layout

This one was for the Sports Fun badge.

And this one is for the Family Events badge.

I have several more I am working on for their crop. I'll post them when they are done. I love the ideas over there!

Scrapbook Heaven Good Bye Summer Camp

The fun has just started over at Scrapbook Heaven with their Good Bye Summer Camp.

If any of my friends want to come over and join in on the fun, tell them I sent you. We could both earn the friendship patch. You can see it here.

Here is my first layout for their party. The challenge was to use a black background and 10+ stars.

A first ever

One of the challenges at the Nook was to create a digital layout. So here is my first one, ever! I don't even know what I am doing. I made this in Paint. I don't have any fancy software, lol.

SD4U Week 5

From the website here is this week's challenge:

Your challenge for this week is to take The Loves of your Life and share them with us. The Challenge: Put your adhesive away...that means anything sticky. You will complete your entire layout by using stitching, brads, staples, eyelets, ribbon....whatever will keep your layout in tact. use the theme The Loves of your Life and use any products.....just nothing sticky!

And here is my take:

Everything is attached with brads, staples, and those glittery flower paper clips. Nothing sticky here! That was hard.

I love my family!

My Latest Batch

socal challenge-Use your letter stamps

Socal challenge-use your circle cutters

SD4U Sept kit

SoCal challenge-creatively place an off center photo

These 4 are part of a challenge over at The Scrapbook Nook. Its really been fun so far.

I'll post more Nook layouts as I get them done.
