Bella Blvd Family Dynamix Line

I was delighted to get to play with the Family Dynamix line in April.  Martha got this line in at Scrapbook Daisies and I just love it!   I love everything Bella Blvd though!

Have you been to her store yet?  It is fantastic!  Check it out if you are in the Long Beach area.

3962 N Studebaker Rd # 203
Long Beach, CA 90808

Here is what I made with the line:

Weston when he was about 4.

Close-up of the banner.

Detail added to the card with stickles.

Payton at her 1st birthday party.

Closeups of the center details.

Payton hung out in her stroller at this age at lots of soccer pratices.  This is when she was almost 2.

Payton at her preppyK Easter egg hunt.  We miss her Eastwood class!

These are KaiserKraft wood cuts with stickles added into the spaces of the shapes.  I love how this looks in real life!

Payton when she was about 18 months.  I loved those little rompers!

Handcut heart.  I love the Tiny Attacher!  I think I use it on almost every laout.

So that is it with that line.  Have you used it yet?  Did you love it?

I got to work with a fantastic line from the brick and mortar store this month, Family Dynamix by Bella Blvd. The papers and embellishments included in my "kit" are absolutely fun and colorful and awesome (like Bella Blvd always is)!

Have you noticed the "scraplift" challenge that the design team took part in this month?  Fun, huh?  I was so thrilled to have the opportunity to "lift" dt member and friend, MICHELLE! When I found out that I got to lift her, I was so excited!  By lifting her I would finish one of the monthly challenges as well.  Besides, who doesn't live Michelle's work?

Here are the two layouts you can lift for the April scraplift challenge in the forum:

Welcome to the next stop on the Scrapbook Daisies Blog Hop!!

If you have arrived here first, then please start in the beginning at the Scrapbook Daisies Home blog and do the hop in order...you will be glad you did!.

Scrapbook Daisies has the most amazing kits...full of beauties! Here is the kit that I worked with this month....

Kit # 3 Mini Kit - Little Boy by Echo Park - $19.99

And here are the projects that I created!

This is my littlest boy Wade last Thursday (1/6) running on the playground equipment.  This kid doesn't do anything in slow motion.  The blue and green cardstock are from my stash.

Here he is again after he played with the soot in the fireplace.  That was sure a mess to clean up!   The little silver brads and Maya Road shear are from my stash.

This is my nephew and my mom.  The blue ribbons are from Walmart I think and the Maya Road star pins are from the Scrapbook Daisies store.  I gave this layout to my sister for her office.

Here is my Wade again.  Everything here is from the kit.  Wade loves his scooter!

The only thing not from the kit here is the Maya Road shear.  Everything else from the kit.  This is a picture of Wade and myself taken this week.  I got the letters in the circle shape by placing them around a Maya Road shear and then adhering them to the page as I took them off the shear.

This is my last one with the kit.  Wade again!  This is from our trip to San Francisco right after Christmas.   We were on Pier 39 looking at the sea lions.  All Wade wanted to do was run and jump from place to place.  He is such a boy!  I've added a star and shear on this one too.

I hope you have enjoyed looking at what I have created with this kit this month.  It was a lot of fun to work with!

Now on to the technical stuff for the hop . . .

Don't forget to comment and become a follower of all the blog posts in the hop this month. Then you have one last step: email Misty at mistyw@nctv.com with your list of daisies you found along the way, putting Scrapbook Daisies Hop in the Subject line. You will then be entered to win 1 of the great kits Scrapbook Daisies has to offer!

Here is my daisy!

The ox-eye daisy.

Your next stop on the hop will be Seppa!

In case you get lost, you can find a complete list of participating blogs here... http://scrapbookdaisies.blogspot.com/

Happy Hopping!!!

Changes to the Scrapbook Daisies Kits

Martha just posted this about changes to the Scrapbook Daisies kit club:

Hello Everyone,

Most December kits are shipping tomorrow! There are a couple of items from the Merry January kit that I will receive today. If you ordered an add on and did not pay for it yet, you will be receiving an invoice shortly. The Merry January kit is sold out now! If you selected that kit but did not pay for it, you need to select another kit or skip this month.

I continue to have many challenges with the manufacturers about product, either they are sold out completely or items are on back order, I have never had issues like this before until the last 4 or 5 months. So I decided to make some changes to the kit club to help this situation and I am also moving the schedule to help the members that can not make their kit payments until the 1st of the month. As you know I have a full time job and also now the brick and mortar store so I try do do my shipments all at once when everyone has paid. So here are the changes:

I am bringing down the choices from 3 to 2 full kits per month

I will have 1 or 2 mini kits per month that will range between $15 - $20

The schedule will change as follows:

20th of the month - Sneak peeks
25th of the month - Full Reveals
25th - 28th - Member's kit selection
29th - Invoices are sent
29th - 3rd - Members must pay their invoices
2nd week of the month (Monday or Tuesday) kits will ship out

Hopefully this will assist me in getting the kits ready for you more timely and will assist you in getting payment to me promply.

I am really excited about the changes that are coming, with today's economy the people that can not afford a full kit might be able to get a mini kit! The mini kits will have the same great quality of product just in smaller quantities.

There will be changes in the Design Team which I will share shortly...

 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I know I am really excited about the smaller kits!  More people will be able to fit this price into their budget.  Then they can see for themselves how wonderful Martha's kits truly are!
What a fun kit! I love the My Mind's Eye I Believe papers and the embellies in this kit. It all comes together so beautifully! Its really traditional in color without being overly Christmas-y.
Here is additional info on the kits if you would like to buy one:  Scrapbook Daisies Monthly Kits
